New Smyrna Beach is proud of its efforts to preserve wildlife and natural resources, and wants to share its environmental enthusiasm during Sea Turtle Odyssey from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at Shoppes at Seaside Station, 504 Flagler Ave.
Visitors to New Smyrna Beach will have an opportunity to relax and learn about the town's preservation of sea turtles.
Team members from the Canaveral National Seashore, Marine Discovery Center, Marine Science Center and NSB Turtle Trackers will host educational seminars where you have a chance to find out about all sorts of ocean creatures and river critters.
Check out shark, whale, mollusk and crustacean exhibits from noon to 6 p.m. Explore the educational opportunities for kids and grown-ups alike, and join in the fun activities.
Steel drum music will be performed from 2 to 6 p.m. and DJ Anthony will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a movie under the stars with the animated feature film "Finding Nemo."
