Carter Reeb, 9, also with Bolt Aquatics in Indian River County, makes short work of his 50-yard freestyle in the boy's age 9-10 event.

Fifteen teams and approximately 500 swimmers gathered at the North County Aquatics Center Saturday for the South Florida Recreational Swim League 2014 Spring Championship. Swimmers from as far south as Miami were on hand for the all-day event. The North County Aquatics Center has opened children's area on weekends and plans to open it full time in June.
