INDIAN RIVER COUNTY -- Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru are pleased to announce the 70th recipient of the Dyer Difference Award.
This award salutes a nonprofit organization in Indian River County that is truly making a difference in our community. Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru presented the Dyer Difference Award along with a $3,000 check to the recipient: The Buggy Bunch.
The Buggy Bunch's mission is to help moms in our community meet one another for fun and fellowship and fitness. All moms are welcome regardless of background, religious beliefs, and socioeconomic status. Membership is free.
The Dyer award is helping to sponsor the first ever, community-wide family event called KidBlast. The event takes place on May 17 at Riverside Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature more than 20 zones focused on major industries in our community like automotive, banking, aviation, healthcare and agriculture.
KidBlast is designed to encourage interaction, creative construction, role playing, problem solving and fun for the entire family.
"We are excited about being a part of something so new and family oriented," Tatiana Dyer said.
