The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a teenager who has been missing since December.
Deputies have been searching for her ever since her disappearance, including using social media to alert the public, but investigators have run out of leads.
Brandii Tolbert, 15, was reported missing by her Department of Children and Families caseworker Dec. 20. Brandii was being transported to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home that day when she became upset and jumped out of the car at the intersection of LPGA Boulevard and Derbyshire Road and ran away. The driver said she drove around the area, but was unable to find Brandii.
Brandii is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and about 120 pounds. She sometimes would stay at a home on Oleander Avenue in Holly Hill. She told friends on Facebook that she is staying with friends near the Walmart in Daytona Beach and indicated she was close to Nova Road.
If anyone knows of Brandii's whereabouts, call Investigator Lance Lamee at (386) 323-0151.
