FORT PIERCE -- Jim Hoover hasn't let a fire stop him from providing the best audio visual service on the Treasure Coast.

Not long after Mr. Hoover left work at Installation Station one evening last November, he received a call saying the alarms at his shop were going off. By the time he got back, much of what he'd worked his life at building had been destroyed.

"We suffered a total loss," Mr. Hoover said. "We had to start over and luckily the building next door was available."

The new shop has a much more spacious interior, a larger waiting room and enough room for Mr. Hoover to display the many different speakers, stereo systems, tires and rims that are available at the shop.

The store is loaded with more electronic devices that one can imagine. Each device can be installed into various modes of transportation.

"I've hooked up four-wheelers, tractors and golf carts with stereos," Mr. Hoover said. "If a customer can dream it, we do whatever we can to make that dream come true. I've even customized a mud-buggy. We can handle just about any job given to us."

Mr. Hoover said one of the newest trends is installing Satellite radio into cars.

"That's what's hot right now. Satellite Radio, Blue Tooth devices and our biggest seller, Memphis Car Audio. We carry most every line of audio equipment, but that's one of our most popular lines."

Installation Station has a full line of service. Most customers come in knowing exactly the type of sound they want or what tires and rims they want to cruise around on. But, for those who need help deciding which direction to go, Mr. Hoover and his expert staff are glad to assist.

"We cover everything from working with car dealerships to bring their vehicles up to date, to helping moms keep restless kids seated while in the car, to navigation systems for those on the road a lot, to helping seniors figure out which alarm system they want installed. We do it all."

Located in Fort Pierce for more than 20-years, Mr. Hoover's business has not only evolved with technological developments, it has now risen from the ashes.

Installation Station offers same day service and is open six days a week. They are located at 38020South U.S. in Fort Pierce. For more information, call (772) 489-8988.
