FORT PIERCE -- The Sunrise Theatre will welcome the return of popular artists during February, including Rico Monaco Band and The Alan Parsons Live Project.

Rico Monaco returns to St. Lucie County and his high school roots on the stage at the Sunrise Theatre Black Box on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. The Rico Monaco Band is one of Central Florida's best-kept secrets in the music industry.

The Rico Monaco Band is a red hot rock band with Latin influences that has performed around the world and won many awards, including: seven time Orlando Band of the Year, Song of the Year, CD of the Year, and Musician of the Year (Rico Monaco-guitarist). As one of the best bands in Florida, they perform their unique original songs and classic Rico Monaco Band stylized remakes, all with a Latin twist.

Tickets are priced at $25 and include a free Rico Monaco Band CD, Genre Bending and are available at the Box Office.

The Alan Parsons Live Project is bringing their Greatest Hits 2014 Tour, to the Sunrise Theatre by popular demand on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. Enjoy an amazing two full hours of music, including popular hits: Games People Play, Time, Eye In the Sky, Wouldn't Want To Be Like You, and Don't Answer Me.

"The sheer energy and talent of this group was amazing...their performance last year was superb, the crowd loved every minute of it," said executive director, John D. Wilkes. "Alan has composed some of the greatest sounds in rock history and he continues to prove he can bring a crowd to their feet time after time, year after year.

"The multiple Grammy award winning Alan Parsons will perform live at only a handful of U.S. venues this year. We are thrilled to have him back at the Sunrise Theatre again," states Wilkes.

Today, Alan Parsons takes his music on a worldwide tour, bringing his greatest hits to sold-out amphitheaters, concert halls and theaters. The current live band consists of Alan on acoustic guitar, keyboards and vocals, P.J. Olsson on vocals, Manny Foccarazzo on keyboards, Guy Erez on bass, Alastair Greene on guitar, Danny Thompson on drums, and Todd Cooper on sax, percussion and vocals.

Tickets are priced at $59/49 and are available at the Box Office.

The Sunrise Theatre for the Performing Arts is an intimate venue, offering the best entertainment and state-of-the-art sound on the Treasure Coast. The Sunrise Theatre presents a diverse schedule of national touring Broadway shows, musical and comedy acts, ballet and opera companies with full orchestras, country stars and classic rock icons.
