SEBASTIAN -- Sebastian River Medical Center will host the 12th annual Women's Health Expo on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 8- 11 a.m.
This event is open to the public and includes free refreshments and a door prize. At 10 a.m. a special presentation will be held in the dining room titled "Small Changes Can Bring Big Rewards", conducted by Brenda Field, MD, board certified in Internal Medicine. This will provide information about making lifestyle changes for improved health.
Health-related exhibits will be available from a variety of vendors and free screenings will be provided including breast exams, blood pressure, vision and vascular screenings. Blood profile screenings including cholesterol and lipids will be offered for a minimal charge of $15, paid by cash or check. Eight hours of fasting is required for this test.
All attendees should enter the event through the Diagnostic Center's main entrance located just north of the Emergency Room in the main parking lot of the hospital.
