The second annual Main Street Live Original Music & Art Festival will be from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 8, and consist of more than 130 music acts, and 40 artists and vendors.
The event will be on Main Street starting at A1A and continue down to Peninsula Drive. The street will be closed to traffic to create a block party environment.
The event will host 17 inside and outside stages at various venues, including The Bank & Blues Club, Full Moon Saloon, Dirty Harry's, Froggy's Saloon, Main Street Station, Boot Hill Saloon, Crusin' Café, Johnny's Rock-N-Ride and Chrome Bar & Grill.
The festival will feature a wide array of musical styles from mostly local and regional acts consisting of Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Folk, Metal and Ska. Other activities include sidewalk chalk art, art displays consisting of paintings, photography, crafts and jewelry in addition to other various retail, promotional and food vendors.
Discounted advanced tickets (All Venue Pass) are available online at ssa.cc/mainstreetlive or can be purchased at Atlantic Sounds in Daytona Beach, 138 W. International Speedway Blvd.; Steve's Downtown Music in DeLand, 108 S. Woodland Blvd., and Yancey Music Center in Ormond Beach, 601 S. Yonge St. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate. Children ages 12 and younger are free. Tickets (All Venue Pass) enable access to all the stages that have a cover charge and select art display areas. The event goes on rain or shine.
