MARTIN COUNTY -- The Air Force Junior ROTC instructors and cadets of Jensen Beach High School in the Martin County School District earned an overall unit assessment score of "Exceeds Standards," the highest rating attainable, from the Air Force JROTC during their rated unit evaluation on Dec. 9, 2013.
According to the AFJROTC, Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Cichocki and Senior Master Sergeant Durrell K. Johnson created a dynamic and supportive learning environment coupled with an excellent community outreach. The instructors were providing outstanding leadership in administering the cadet centered citizenship program.
The evaluation found that the Jensen Beach High School cadets performed exceptionally well and took great pride in leading and accomplishing their unit goals. The JBHS Air Force Junior ROTC citizenship program is making a positive impact on the cadets, the school and community.
"I'm extremely proud of our cadets," said Lt. Col. Cichocki. "They showed the inspector what I've known all along; they run a top-notch program and are better prepared for life after high school as a result."
