PALM BAY -- The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce is inviting residents to "Celebrate Brevard" this holiday season.

The eighth annual "Celebrate Brevard - Food and Wine Gala" will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 5:30-9 p.m.

Victoria Northrup, president and CEO of The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce, said that the event is appropriate for all ages.

"This is a great evening out for young and seniors alike," she said. "For an affordable entry fee, guests sample American and International cuisines from many different restaurants around the county, along with sampling wines from Southern Wine and Spirits."

The theme for this year's celebration will be "The Great Gatsby," where guests are asked to dress in black and white attire.

"This is the last big signature event of the year for the Palm Bay Chamber, and we have pulled out all of the stops to make this year's event a memorable one for everyone," Ms. Northrup said. "We want our guests that evening to leave with wonderful memories and photos, which capture a step back in time."

Ms. Northrup said that guests will also be treated to décor from the 1920s, vintage vehicles, poker tables and a roving photographer for guests to have their pictures taken dressed in 'Gatsby" attire.

The celebration will also feature a performance from magician and illusionist Randy Crain.

Mr. Crain has performed in living rooms, fields, back yards, restaurants, garages, limousines, banquet halls, hotel ballrooms and stages of all shapes and sizes.

Some of Mr. Crain's clients include The Ritz Carlton, Americas Got Talent and IBM.

The Chamber is also seeking food and non-food vendors for the celebration.

For non-food vendors, the price is $50 for members and $75 for non-members.

Food vendor tables are free.

Sponsorship for the event is also still available: platinum sponsorship is $1,500 investment; gold sponsorship is a $1,000 investment; and silver sponsorship is a $500 investment.

The eighth annual "Celebrate Brevard - Food and Wine Gala" will take place Saturday, Dec. 14, from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Unity Center of Palm Bay, located at 1771 Agora Circle.
