The Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County are hosting a series of free Family Literacy evening workshops for parents and grandparents of club members. Parents and grandparents (both English- and Spanish-speaking) learn interactive, fun, reading activities that can be done at home with their children. The second workshop was held at the 10th Street Recreation Center in Stuart on Wednesday, Nov. 13. The next Family Literacy Days are: Jan. 15 for Palm City, Feb. 19 for Hobe Sound, and March 19 for Indiantown. For more information, visit www.bgcmartin.org.
