COCOA BEACH -- There is nothing quite as pleasant as enjoying holiday music performed live.

On Sunday, Dec. 1, Riverside Presbyterian Church in Cocoa Beach will host "An Old Fashioned Christmas," a free concert, which features the Indialantic Chamber Singers and the Brevard Children's Chorus.

The concert, which begins at 3:30 p.m., will feature traditional Christmas songs and carols, and is part of the Dr. Vernon Boushell concert series -- a musical legacy dedicated to uplifting the people of Brevard.

"The first performance was hosted in 2010," said Deacon Mason Gibson of Riverside Presbyterian Church. "This will be the fourth year the church will host 'An Old Fashioned Christmas.'"

Led by guest conductor Dr. Jamie Youkin, the Indialantic Chamber Singers and the Brevard Children's Chorus will sing holiday favorites, such as "Silver Bells," "O' Holy Night," "We Three Kings," "O Tannenbaum" and "Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer."

The two groups will perform individually and together, concluding the concert with an audience sing-along of beloved Christmas carols.

"This is the second year that the Indialantic Chamber Singers have teamed with the Brevard Children's Chorus," said Tony Spadafora, president. "We quite enjoy working with them."

Both Deacon Gibson and Mr. Spadafora encourage everyone to come out, as the performance is sure to be a special treat.

"This concert is always an audience favorite," Deacon Gibson said. "It helps people find their Christmas spirit, and reminds them of the true meaning of Christmas."

"Somehow, Christmas and signing go together very well," Mr. Spadafora said. "This concert will be special, in that people will want to come hear the wonderful selections that we have planned, and start the season off right."

Riverside Presbyterian Church in Cocoa Beach will Host "An Old Fashioned Christmas" on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 3:30 p.m. The free concert will feature the Indialantic Chamber Singers and the Brevard Children's Chorus.

Riverside Presbyterian Church is located at 3400 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach.
