Veterans everywhere were honored Monday during the Veterans Day 2013 Ceremony on Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary. Master of Ceremonies Col. Martin J. Zickert, president of the Veterans Council of Indian River County welcomed everyone and thanked all of the veterans who had served. For the first time, veterans and their families filled the stage and were honored for their service.
