FORT PIERCE -- BBS Insurance, The Inner Truth Project, CASTLE and New Horizons of the Treasure Coast are all offering classes at Harvest Food and Outreach Center in an effort to meet the needs of the local community that it serves.
The Outreach Center knows that the key to successful movement along the path toward prosperity is to offer educational opportunities through collaborations with other non-profits and businesses.
Weekly classes include:
Mondays, 8 a.m. - New Horizons' PATH Program
Wednesdays, noon - BBS Insurance "Basics of Health Care Reform/ACA"
Thursdays, 1p.m. - CASTLE's "Positive Parenting"
Friday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. Mindi Fetterman, executive director of the Inner Truth Project will be holding a seminar to those affected by rape and incest entitled "Sharing Your Inner Truth: Living Victoriously After Sexual Violence, Rape & Incest."
There is no charge to attend any of these classes. All are open to the public. Harvest Food and Outreach Center provides a hand up to St Lucie County's neediest residents through hunger relief, crisis counseling, and education.
