A breast cancer awareness cut-a-thon will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Dillards and Aveda Salon, 1700 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach.
Haircuts will be $13. Eyebrow waxing and express manicures will be $7 each and polish changes will be $5.
All proceeds go to breast cancer awareness.

Pink Feet 10k/5k Road Race
In honor of breast cancer awareness month, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial and the Friends of DeBary Hall will host the Pink Feet 10K/5K Road Race on Sunday, Oct. 20, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary.
Registration for the road race, which will be run on a certified course, begins at 6 a.m. and the race starts at 7:30 a.m. A free children's 100 meter run for ages 11 and under will begin at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be presented at 8:45 a.m. Special awards will be presented for the best "Pink Feet" costume.
Proceeds will benefit the Friends of DeBary Hall's educational programs and the Fish Memorial's fund for mammograms and digital imaging of the breast for local women in need.

Project Pink in the Loop Oct.18-20
The second annual Project Pink in the New Smyrna Beach Waterfront Loop will be Oct.18-20 and includes a Bras for Ta-Tas breast cancer fundraiser and silent auction.
Two additional events on Saturday include a Chili Cook-Off with proceeds benefiting breast cancer charities and a Craft Beer Festival offering a taste of more than 100 craft beers.

Knockout breast cancer at fundraiser
Instructor Candido Lopez, a former Golden Gloves contender, will teach a boxing class from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Revive Fitness, 180 S. Yonge St., Ormond Beach.

Pink Ribbon Yoga Workshop
To celebrate breast cancer awareness month, the community may attend a free yoga workshop, led by Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center oncologist Dr. Karin Bigman, on Oct. 22.
The yoga workshop was specially designed for breast cancer patients and survivors and will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Medical Office Building first floor classroom, 305 Memorial Medical Parkway, Daytona Beach.
