ST. LUCIE COUNTY -- Mark your calendars for the Molly's House Angel Run coming to Fort Pierce on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The Angel Run is to be held at the River Walk Center 600 N. Indian River Drive, Fort Pierce. Registration starts at 6 a.m. and the race begins at 7 a.m.
This event caters to all different age groups and competitive levels with a 2K fun walk, a 5K and a 10K timed and awarded bridge run.
All three courses are set along beautiful downtown Fort Pierce. Walkers will talk a scenic stroll to Gazebo Park and back while runners will cross the Seaway Drive Bridge and continue onto Hutchinson Island.
The first 100 runners to register will receive a free, long sleeve wicking shirt.
After the run, participants will enjoy music and complimentary breakfast provided by Panera Bread, Nelson Family Farms and Erneston Produce. Eight gift certificates will also be raffled off.
Medals will be given to males and females in first, second, and third place in 15 age categories along with awards for male and female Masters and Overall for both races.
