ST. LUCIE COUNTY -- The sixth annual Steak & Stake Dinner and Auction presented by The Terrio Group was a successful and enjoyable event benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County.

Guests came out to the Island Club of PGA Village on September 7th to meet Club members, enjoy a delicious dinner and bid on a multitude of unique auction items.

Event co-chairs, Angelique Lyons and Michael Terrio put on a one-of-kind event for more than 275 guests.

"Our Steak & Stake dinner was a wonderful event where adults were able to take a positive stake in the lives of 50 kids," said Michael Sancho, chief executive officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors, including our title sponsor The Terrio Group. Our event co-chairs Angelique Lyons and Mike Terrio were a true pleasure to work with and their dedication resulted in our most successful Steak & Stake yet."

Entertainment was provided by the members of the Boys & Girls Clubs Glee Club and Traxx Entertainment. The keynote speaker was Saleshia Ellis, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County's 2013 Youth of the Year.

This year's Steak & Stake's title sponsor was The Terrio Group, Retirement Planning Solutions. The Steak & Stake Dinner brought in more than $58,000 thanks to the generosity of the corporate sponsors and guests. These funds will be used to support programs that benefit the 2,000 local children who participate in the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County every year.
