The 13th annual New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival will take place Sept. 27-29, 2013 at various beachside and mainland locations, including Flagler Avenue, Canal Street Historic District, and Third Avenue, all within The LOOP.
This year's festival is dedicated to the memory of band director Dr. George West of Stetson University, who brought his jazz ensembles to many Jazz Festivals and Images: A Festival of the Arts.
Of the 23 shows, 21 are free admission.
The two-ticketed events are the kick-off party at Traders Sports and Entertainment Pub on Friday and Jacqueline Jones' "Here's to you Billie Holiday" and the great voices of Jazz at the Brannon Center on Sunday.
