The Space Coast Community Law School offers free legal seminars to the public on a variety of legal topics.
The seminars are presented in an informational and educational setting. The intent is to give the public an opportunity to learn about the general rules of law.
The seminars are offered in the fall and spring of each year. The speakers are local judges and attorneys.
The fall 2013 session begins Sept. 12. The seminars are held on eight consecutive Thursday evenings from 6-8 p.m. at the Moore Justice Center, Jury Assembly Room, 2825 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera.
Seminar topics will be: Aid and Attendance: a Veteran's Benefit for Medical Expenses; Affordable Health Care Act; Long Term Care; Bankruptcy; Homeowner's Association Law; Foreclosure; Landlord/Tenant Law and DUI Driver's Rights/Obligations; and Statutory Requirements.
