Business Champion of the Month

The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce's Business Resource Council has announced the selection of Zoomin Groomin Space Coast Florida as Business Champion of the Month for July.

Zoomin Groomin was cited for exemplary performance in customer service and overall best business practices.

The Business Champion is an award designed to recognize excellence in business, while meeting the criteria of the Small Business Administration.

Nominations are made by Chamber partners, and the selection is made by the board of directors of the Business Resource Council.

New CEO at Chamber

The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has appointed Linda Webster as its new chief executive officer.

Ms. Webster, the chief financial officer of the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to assume her new position immediately.

She has worked as the chief financial officer of the Chamber since 2007. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southeast Missouri State University and has two children, Mathew is in the U.S. Coast Guard and Jenna is a senior at Merritt Island High School.

The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce was established in 1968 and serves Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, Patrick Air Force Base, Port St. John, Rockledge, Palm Shores, Suntree and Viera.
