Volusia County Home & Garden Show will grow in Ocean Center

Show Technology, one of the nation's most successful business-to-consumer trade show organizers, will host the Volusia County Fall Home & Garden Show Aug. 23-25 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.

The entire Ocean Center will be transformed into a home and garden extravaganza. Local home and garden experts and businesses will be exhibiting everything from front entrance décor to backyard landscapes.

In addition, there will be many interactive activities for all ages including:

Learning opportunities are available at the show, including do-it-yourself seminars throughout the weekend with exhibitor demonstrations and Zack Jarrell, Driver of the No. 18 in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Mr. Jarrell is 20 years old and races Pro Late Models. In his eight-year racing career, he has accumulated 223 wins and eight championships. The most recent championship was at New Smyrna Speedway in 2012.

Show hours are noon to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets (cash or credit only) are: Adults 17 and over, $7; youth 16 and younger, free; retired military with ID, $4; active duty military with ID, free; seniors 65-plus, $4.

Attendees can save $3 by purchasing tickets online at volusiacountyhomeandgardensshow.com. Coupons for $2 off are available at local participating Walgreens and Home Depot stores. Additional discounts do not apply to senior or retired military admission.
