Port Orange man found in swimming pool dies

An investigation is pending autopsy results for an 85-year-old Port Orange man, who was pronounced dead at the scene after being found unresponsive in his swimming pool.

The Port Orange Police Department and Port Orange Fire Rescue responded to 6389 Nika Court, Port Orange, at 4:34 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, regarding Donald Lee Albaugh being found unresponsive in the swimming pool of the residence.

Mr. Albaugh's wife discovered her husband and alerted a neighbor, who was able to pull him from the pool.

Mr. Albaugh was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
