JENSEN BEACH -- There are only a few places on the Treasure Coast that have a beach side view as a venue.

Fortunately, for Windmill Village by the Sea, they have a view and so much more.

The Windmill Village by the Sea Bridal Expo will showcase the beautiful ocean view, vendors from florists to tuxedo rentals.

Sponsored by Hometown News and Coast 101.3, the inaugural Bridal Expo will be from 1- 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18.

The newly renovated Windmill by the Sea's east facing windows have been remodeled with highly fashionable windows to showcase the ocean side view.

"We did building repairs, repainted the rooms and updated the colors," said Diane Tamiso, Windmill Village by the Sea event coordinator and property manager.

The new paint scheme is light and airy with neutral colors, able to conform to any palate that any bride, or event planner, would have.

Several vendors will show off their talents and products like Cupcake Freaks and Misty Rose Florist.

Additional vendors include Traxx, De Stephano's Catering, Weddings by Rachel, Cardita Formal Wear and Island Party Rentals.

Each vendor will have examples of their services and representatives of each company will be on hand to answer questions.

There will also be a cocktail hour by the poolside deck.

Attendees will be entered into a raffle for door prizes and the grand prize winner will win a Windmill Village by the Sea venue rental.

The venue rental includes tables and chairs.

The dunes and beach side area also make for great pictures before, during and after weddings and ceremonies.

"We only allow one event per week," Ms. Tamiso said. "So if someone needs to come in the day before to decorate, they can."

For those looking for a venue, this is a one stop event for all wedding and formal occasions.

"For the brides and event planners, what I say is that we supply the view, you supply the imagination," Ms. Tamiso said. "You can make it any type of dream wedding or reception."

Tickets for the event are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

Windmill Village by the Sea is located at 10850 S. Ocean Drive, Jensen Beach.
