TREASURE COAST -- On July 26-27, Panera Bread will be hosting lemonade stands to benefit Treasure Coast Food Bank Child Nutrition Programs at nine bakery-cafes throughout the Treasure Coast area.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days, children and supporters of Treasure Coast Food Bank will be asking customers to donate $1 or more to receive a refreshing sample of Home-Style Lemonade. Guests will be served from decorated Operation Lemon-Aid for Kids stands made by Panera Bread associates.
"We are excited to be hosting Operation Lemon-Aid for Kids stands at all of our bakery-cafes," said Dana Trabulsy, director of marketing and public relations for Covelli Family Limited Partnership, a franchisee of Panera. "We believe in the mission of Treasure Coast Food Bank and are looking forward to two exciting days where we can come together and make a difference in the lives of children battling hunger. Last year we were able to donate close to $10,000 on behalf of our generous Panera Bread customers."
Additionally, all money collected in the month of July through the Operation Dough-Nation boxes at bakery-cafes owned and operated by Covelli Family Limited Partnership will be donated to Treasure Coast Food Bank.
