Summer Food Service Program for children

Brevard Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program during the months of June and July.

All children 18 years old and younger are eligible for nutritionally balanced meals at one of the program sites free of charge.

The locations of the programs are approved in geographical areas of need where 50 percent or more of the children qualify for free and reduced-price meals during the school year.

Summer feeding sites located at schools provide meals to all children in the immediate vicinity in addition to those enrolled in summer school.

The following sites will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program Mondays through Fridays:

Dr. W.J. Creel Elementary, 2000 Glenwood Drive, Melbourne. Breakfast will be served from 7:15-7:45 a.m., and lunch will be served from 10:15-10:45 a.m. through July 31.

Oak Park Elementary, 3395 Dairy Road, Titusville. Breakfast will be served from 7:15-7:45 a.m., and lunch will be served from10:15-10:45 a.m. through July 31.

Port Malabar Elementary, 310 Pioneer Ave., N.E., Palm Bay. Breakfast will be served from 7-7:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 10:15-10:45 a.m. through July 31.

Celebration Tabernacle Church, 1010 Dixon Blvd., Cocoa. Breakfast will be served from 8-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11:15 a.m. to noon through July 31.

Gibson Youth Center, 835 Sycamore St., Titusville. Breakfast will be served from 8-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from11:15-11:45 a.m. through July 31.

Times are subject to change. There is no meal service on July 4-5.
