FORT PIERCE - The Fort Pierce Branch Library's June ArtSpace exhibit features the Billy Miller ART for Life: A Group Show on display through June 29.
The Billy Miller ART for Life program provides an environment where young artists from St. Lucie County can maximize their creativity and work to produce art that transcends any preconceived notion of their abilities.
Program founder Dan Galloway believes that "children's art speaks its own language." This is especially true for the artists he teaches -- children and young adults with special needs. Galloway's student artists are exceptional and produce soulful and extraordinary work.
For more information about the program or any of the artworks contact Dan Galloway at Billy Miller ART for Life, 1905 South 11th St. in Fort Pierce.
The Fort Pierce Branch Library has refurbished the northeast corner of the first floor to allow patrons a more relaxing area to access the library's WiFi and conduct work on their laptops and tablets. One major part of the new look includes the new monthly program called ArtSpace, where local artists can display their works each month.
Residents interested in displaying their artwork as part of the Fort Pierce Library's non-commercial ArtSpace area should contact Librarian Shelia Small at (772) 462-2199. This is not a commercial venue. Artwork is for displayed for enjoyment purposes only.
The Fort Pierce Branch of the St. Lucie County Library is located at 101 Melody Lane in Fort Piece. Visit: www.library.stlucieco.gov.
