Get ready to stand up for autism

Port St. Lucie residents Sydney, 13, Riley, 11, with mom, Dr. Lisa Rankin, a family practice physician, and sitting in front, Jackson, 7, paddle boarding in front of the U.S. Sailing Center of Martin County on Saturday, May 4. In addition to family medicine, Dr. Rankin also has the Brain Center of the U.S., evaluating, diagnosing and treating children with autism and other nerve developmental disorders.

The upcoming second annual Stand Up For Autism Paddle Boarding and fundraising event to benefit the Treasure Coast Autism Project will be held at the U.S. Sailing Center of Martin County in Jensen Beach on Saturday, June 8. The Treasure Coast Autism Project is a private nonprofit school located at Community Christian Academy providing children living with autism on the Treasure Coast an educational opportunity that is suitable to each child's unique academic, therapeutics and social needs.
