PALM CITY -- The Junior Rowing team of the Treasure Coast Rowing Club is offering two summer 'Learn to Row' camps for incoming eighth- through twelfth-grade students.

The camps are June 3-7 and Aug. 12-16, and will take place from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday-Friday, at the Community Boathouse, 771 S.W. 28th Street in Palm City. The cost is $100 per week.

No experience is necessary to participate, and each camp is conducted by head coach Kristen Swayze. Campers will learn the basic fundamentals of rowing, experience first strokes on the water and compete in inner-squad races.

For more information contact Coach Swayze at tcyouthrowing@gmail.com or visit www.treasurecoastrowingclub.com to register.
