The Daytona Beach Bandshell's Star Spangled Summer Concert Series kicks off with Americana, featuring Docs of Dixieland, U.S. Navy Band-Southeast, Military Honors and Daytona State College Band & Choir at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25.
An experience both locals and visitors alike look forward to every summer, the Star Spangled Summer Concert Series is a free annual event that takes place on Saturday nights at the world's most famous beach's historic Bandshell at 250 N. Atlantic Ave. behind Ocean Walk Shoppes.
The concerts, which continue through Aug. 31, are followed by a fireworks display over the Atlantic Ocean at 9:45 p.m.
Rental chairs are available.
Bandshell parking is available at the Ocean Center garage and surface lots. Enter the Bandshell area through the Ocean Walk Shoppes from A1A or the overpass from the parking garage.
The concerts are made possible by corporate and individual sponsors, annual members' donations, volunteers, City of Daytona Beach, corporations "in-kind" contributions and audience donations.

July 4 -- Eagles Tribute Band, Alter Eagles, and 4th of July Fireworks.
July 6 -- Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, Caribbean Chillers.
July 13 -- Beatles Tribute Band, Let It Be.
July 20 -- Elton John Tribute Band, Rocket Man.
July 27 -- Billy Joel Tribute Band, Piano Man.
Aug. 3 -- Foreigner Tribute Band, 4NR2.
Aug. 10 -- Styx Tribute Band, Almost Styx.
Aug. 17 -- Journey Tribute Band, Never Stop Believin'.
Aug. 24 -- Nickoloff.
Aug. 31 -- Rolling Stones Tribute Band, US Stones.
