Almost 100 golfers took to the course at Daytona Beach Golf Course North on May 11 for the 14th annual golf tournament hosted by the Rotary Club of Port Orange-South Daytona.
The tournament raised more than $8,000 with proceeds supporting the community activities of the club, including the high school scholar/athlete program, a scholarship program at Daytona State College and The Volusia/Flagler Partnership for Children.
Players, including teams from more than a dozen corporate sponsors, enjoyed a putting game, lunch and raffle prizes.
The first place team from Tijuana Flats included Josh Fogarty, Matt Ting, Connie Petenis and Pia Jenko.
The second place team of John Walter, Steve Jack, Tony Dinizio and Steve DeLaroche was sponsored by the New Smyrna Beach Rotary.
The father and sons team of Mike Elkins, Tom Elkins, Rick Elkins and Paul Elkins, sponsored by Daytona Cigar Co., took third place.

Longest drive -- Mike Griffin and Connie Petenis.
Closest to the Line -- Tony Dinizio and Georgeann Luxion.
Closest to the beer -- Tom Antalek.
