ST. LUCIE COUNTY -- About 100 energetic golfers came out to Club Med, Sandpiper Bay on May 4 for the 17th annual Chuck Hill Golf Classic to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County.
With the support of this year's golf chairmen, Charles Cuomo, Bob Johnson and Chuck Hill, their hardworking committee, and community supporters, the Club was able to raise more than $12,500.
Golfers experienced perfect weather and great day of golf, filled with competition, fun, prizes and fellowship. They enjoyed the usual contests of closest to the pin, longest drive, and a shoot-out.
