Listen to the relevant
After reading Sheila Dillon's letter to the editor in the April 26 Hometown News, I would like to quote John F. Kennedy: "I am not so much concerned with the right of everyone to say anything he pleases as I am about our need as a self-governing people to hear everything relevant."

Close charter schools
The charter schools are Jeb Bush's Republican scam to weaken the teachers union and destroy locally, elected school committees' control of our children's education.
Charter-school teachers are not state certified and many have no background checks. Their financial records are a mess and one "principal" gave herself a $150,000 bonus after her school was closed for financial "irregularities."
Charter Schools waste millions of our tax money and records prove they don't educate our children any better than the public schools. Time to tell our representatives to get rid of charter schools now.
