Gov. Rick Scott has appointed Wilbur Anderson as a Workers Compensation Claims Judge.
Mr. Anderson, 54, of Daytona Beach Shores, served as a mediator in the Office of the Judges of Compensation Claims in Daytona Beach since 2011. He also was an attorney in the Workers' Compensation Unit of the First District Court of Appeal and an arbitrator for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Previously he was in private practice and served as a Judge of Compensation Claims in Jacksonville.
Mr. Anderson earned a bachelor's degree from Florida State University and a law degree from George Washington University.
"Wilbur Anderson's varied experience as both a judge and a mediator in worker's compensation claims courts makes him a great candidate for this," Gov. Scott said.
