Walking for CF awareness

A walk to raise awareness and raise funds to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, was held at Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach on Friday, April 19. From left, leading the walk, Lisa Taylor of Port St. Lucie, in pink shirt Emily Bradley, 9, of Jensen Beach, Cassidy Taylor, 9, Jacob Emrich, 7, both of Port St. Lucie, and Allison Bradley, 7, of Jensen Beach. Cassidy Taylor was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when she was 3. By the end of the walk, more than 150 people raised approximately $40,000.
