The Martin County Fire Rescue Department invites citizens to attend its Citizen Fire Academy.
The CFA is an exciting program designed to give an up-close, detailed and interactive look at your fire rescue department.
The class will spend time with the Fire Rescue Chief and staff and will meet with firefighters, paramedics, lifeguards and emergency dispatchers.
Participants will learn about every aspect of fire rescue - emergency medical services, fire suppression, 911-dispatch, budgeting, training, aero-medical, special operations and more.
The program is a seven-week series held on Wednesday evenings starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending by 7:30 p.m. CFA Class VI will begin on Wednesday, May 8. It is free to the citizens of Martin County.
