The engineering department is replacing the existing stormwater pipe that crosses under S.E. 138th Street, approximately 100 feet west of the intersection with Kitchen Creek Road.
Intermittent lane closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. until May 10. Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to exercise caution and expect minor delays in this area.

May 6 is Melanoma Monday and the official launch of Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month.

YMCA to host Healthy Kids Day on April 27
On Saturday, April 27, the YMCA of the Treasure Coast is celebrating YMCA's Healthy Kids Day with a free community event that encourages kids on the Treasure Coast to get moving and learning, and families living healthier.
Healthy Kids Day will take place at two Treasure Coast locations: the Stuart branch on Monterey Road and the YMCA Program Center on Bayshore Boulevard in Port St. Lucie. The events will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will feature fun and active play activities, such as dance demonstrations, bounce houses, arts & crafts, and many local kid-related informational vendors.
