ST. LUCIE COUNTY -- St. Lucie County Veterans Services and the United Veterans of St. Lucie County will co-sponsor the 21st annual United Veterans Golf Classic on Saturday, April 20 at Fairwinds Golf Course, starting at 8:30 a.m.
The tournament is a four-person, best-ball format. Open to the first 132 golfers, registration is $100 per player and includes: a continental breakfast, buffet lunch and green fees/cart for two. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward funding the transportation of disabled veterans to and from their medical appointments at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.
Awards will be presented to all players on the first, second and third highest-scoring teams, as well as the least amount of putts, longest drive and closest to the pin on all par-3 holes.
