Walking and running for a cure for diabetes

The JDRF Walk To Cure Diabetes 5K Walk supporting diabetes research and education was held at Flagler Park in downtown Stuart on Saturday, April 13. Five hundred people participated in the walk and approximately $122,000 was raised. Sponsors of the event include Liberty Medical, Peter's Hardware of Palm City, Hurricane Grill and Wings, Olympic Diner, BJ's, Starbucks, and the Rollins Law Firm. Walkers come down the Roosevelt Bridge, returning to Flagler Park.
