Fun at oyster fest

Jim Alexander of Vero Beach, an instructor with Treasure Coast Youth Sailing Foundation, demonstrates a bowline knot with one of the Green Fleet Kids, Isabel Storck, 11, of Fort Pierce. TCYSF is a non-profit organization providing education and supervised programs for sailing, races and citizenship for Treasure Coast youth, located at Jaycee Park on Hutchison Island in Fort Pierce.

The Second Annual Oyster Fest, held at River Walk, featured arts, crafts, music, marine exhibits, and an open house at the Manatee Center with mural and face painting in downtown Fort Pierce on Saturday, April 6.
