PORT ST. LUCIE -- The City will be holding a public information meeting on Wednesday, April 17, to discuss a proposed traffic roundabout at Floresta Drive and Southbend Boulevard.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the city's community center on Airoso Boulevard.
City engineers will also be on hand to talk about plans to build Canal Park as well as boat ramps on the C-24 canal, just south of the future roundabout.
The meeting will provide design parameters and give an anticipated construction schedule for both projects.
This meeting is open to the public, and city residents are encouraged to attend.
The city's engineering consultant for both projects is the American Consulting Engineers of Florida, and representatives of that company will be at the public meeting, as well as city staff.
There will be a PowerPoint presentation describing both projects, and then city staff will be available to answer questions from the audience.
