TREASURE COAST -- Indian River State College will hold an information session for the Veterans Retraining Assistance Program from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 at the IRSC Main Campus in Fort Pierce.
The Veterans Showcase event is especially targeted for unemployed veterans with an honorable discharge, ages 35 to 60, who would like to continue their education through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs VRAP program. Attendees will learn how to apply for benefits and register for classes. Information will be provided on IRSC programs in computer science, electronics, criminal justice, business, air conditioning, commercial driving, cosmetology and more. Representatives from veteran's organizations will also be available to provide in-depth information and answer questions.
