VERO BEACH -- There are a number of facets that make up the Dancing with Vero's Stars event. With the 10 star dancers and their professional instructors at the helm of it all, we cannot ignore the glitz and glamour of the Red Carpet star arrival, the drinks and hors d'ouerves at the pre-show cocktail reception, the silent auction items, and without a doubt, the votes by a trio of judges.

If you're a fan of ABC TV's Dancing with the Stars or simply a fan of dancing, the Healthy Start Coalition is busy putting the final pieces together for the fifth annual Dancing with Vero's Stars. In what is expected to be the best year yet, "Dancing" will take place on the evening of May 11 at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach.

The change of venue and date to Mother's Day weekend is a positive change for the Healthy Start organization and welcomes Riverside Theatre as their new community partner. Proceeds from this event will benefit the IRC Healthy Start Coalition and Riverside Theatre's programs and services.

Returning for his fifth go-around as judge, our version of ABC's Len Goodman is Lance Sexton, owner of Melbourne Ballroom. Mr. Sexton brings more than 25 years of top professional dance experience with him to the Riverside Theatre stage

Our version of ABC's Bruno Tonioli is Adam Schnell. Mr. Schnell, a faculty member for Riverside Children's Theatre and director of The Dance Conservatory at Riverside, was a judge in 2011 and happy to return once more to the judges table.

Rounding out the threesome is our version of ABC's Carrie Ann Inaba, Donna Roberts Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell is not known locally as a dancer, but she is an actress/singer, and a person with the ability to know what it takes to perform on stage. As co-owner of Idea Garden Advertising and Planet Vero Radio, Ms. Mitchell is astute in media sales, promotions, as a popular voice-over artist and as a radio show host.

Tickets for Dancing with Vero's Stars are now on sale. Ticket prices are $200 for exclusive seating, $150 for premium seating and $100 for general seating. They may be purchased by visiting the Riverside Theatre Box Office in person, calling the Riverside Theatre Box Office directly at (772) 231-6990, or by visiting www.Dancingwithverostars.com.
