Remembering James Tucker

It has been a year since the world lost an extraordinary individual, James Tucker.

I first met James on Fort Lauderdale beach 40 years ago and ended up spending the day with him. Looking back, I think James thought I was a lost soul in need of his extraordinary gifts.

James and I didn't connect again until I met him at a Psychic Fair in 1991.Through James's reading I realized how unusual he was. You could see the specialness in his eyes. The fair started a long friendship in which James gave me far more than I ever gave him.

One time, at the beginning of our friendship when I was having financial problems, he held a $20 check for three- months without my knowledge. How nice was that?

During the years, he would always call, without prompting, when I needed help and never asked for anything in return. He had the spirit of honesty and boldness when he connected with people. James knew that directness was the only way to help someone.

He had amazing intuitive abilities and used most of his time helping others. He was ethical, kind, classy and had a big, big heart. He didn't give a hoot about money or status. Character only counted to James. He truly made this world a better place!

I knew synchronicity was at work during our friendship. Once, James told me about his connection to Williamsburg, Va. In a week, I received a random magazine in the mail called Williamsburg and tucked inside the magazine was an airline stub for Jensen Beach where he lived.

What were the chances for this? The collective unconscious was truly at work in his writings and readings! Simply put, James was an angel sent to earth to lift burdens from others, heal others, and help others find their path in life. And that is exactly what he did!

He is truly missed!

With love,

Maureen Straub, Jensen Beach
