The John Carroll High School marine biology classes celebrated "Marine Organism Day" on Monday, February 25. Students created a costume for a particular marine organism and donned their attire for their classmates.
During classes, students presented the marine organism they represented with a minimum of 15 sophisticated facts about their species with no cue cards allowed!
"This lesson is a student-centered activity where they can learn and share information while having fun and using their multiple intelligences," remarked marine biology teacher Margie Hale.
