PORT ST. LUCIE -- Port St. Lucie's Emergency Management Division has openings for vendors who want to be part of the 2013 Hurricane Preparedness Expo on June 1, when thousands of homeowners will come to the Port St. Lucie Civic Center in search of information, resources and products for this year's hurricane season.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
This year the cost is $175 for a 10- by 6- foot exhibitor booth with an 8-foot table and two chairs. If electricity is needed, there is an additional $25 charge. There is no charge for nonprofits.
