"Once Upon a Mattress," with live music, opens Friday, March 22, at Daytona Playhouse and continues through April 7.

Director Zeina Salame and musical director Benjamin Beck with a merry band of actors, singers, dancers, and musicians recreate the magic and mayhem of "Once Upon a Mattress."

Enter candidate lucky 13, Princess Winnifred, from the swamps, who charms Prince Dauntless, mute King Seximus, Sir Harry and his pregnant love Lady Larkin and all the other citizens stymied by the law.

The Daytona Playhouse cast includes Chelsea Jo Conard as Princess "Fred" with Steven Cork, Amy Darden, Joe Fister, Brendan Fogarty, Victor Hernandez, JJ Hutchinson, Marty Labbe Carly McGrane, Alexa Miles,Patrick Moffett, Krystina Nelson, Joey Nieves, Michael Osowski, Sarah Taylor, Dwayne Williams and Ashley Williamson.
