Hello, everyone. With the clocks now moved ahead and everyone operating on an hour less sleep, we all need to draw strength to keep going this week.
If you need help, head over to the Emerson Center on March 20. That's where Roz Savage will be there at 7 p.m. to talk about her book "Rowing the Atlantic."
This woman realized in her 30s that her life was heading the wrong direction, and took herself in a completely different direction -- by rowboat.
She started on a new journey in her life, and wound up being the first woman to row across the Atlantic Ocean.
If current events are more your interest, award-winning journalist Robin Wright will share her insights on Iran and the middle East as part of Riverside Theatre's distinguished lecturer series. Her recent book provides a look into the Islamic world after 9/11.
Tickets are required for both of these popular events. For the Emerson Center, call (772) 778-5249. For the Riverside Theatre, call (772) 231-6990.
And mark your calendars, because starting on March 16, a special visitor is coming to Indian River Mall. Complete with lots of fur and floppy ears, the Easter Bunny is back to bring smiles to everyone's face, young and old.
So no matter what your age or your interest, as always there's something going on here in Vero Beach that should interest you!
Enjoy your week and drive safe!
