Rating: 3 / 5 (18 votes)
Posted: 2013 Mar 15 - 06:09

Randy Barber/staff photographer

Brandon Cavanaugh (in uniform), 17, of Boy Scout Troop 468 in Ormond Beach keeps an eye on the progress as Eagle Scout Logan Rand, right, of Ormond Beach works on the new shed being built at the Cypress Aquatic Center in Daytona Beach, Saturday, March 9. Also helping were 11-year-old Boy Scouts Logan Ziegler, left, and Ethan Lemoncello, both of Ormond Beach. It took Brandon more than a year to raise money for the new shed that will house chairs for the aquatic center and give the Ormond Beach and Holly Hill Otters swim team a place to store their gear. Jeff's A-Team Concrete donated time and materials for the project and Home Depot also made donations.
