MSgt. Sam Mastrogiacomo, right, and Tech Sgt. Ed Safford of the U.S. Army Air Corps, brought history to life as they shared their World War II experiences with fifth grade students at Coronado Beach Elementary School on Monday, March 4. Members of the "Old Soldiers Club" and volunteer speakers for the History In Our Schools program of Timeless Wings and Wheels Museum of New Smyrna Beach, the veterans told of hair-raising experiences during their service.
