Janice Jarrard Kelly

Janice Jarrard Kelly, 79,

of New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach.

Born Oct. 25, 1933, Ms. Kelly was a retired teacher and administrator with the Volusia County School System. She taught at Coronado, Longstreet, Faulkner and Read-Pattillo schools, and was an administrator at Edgewater, Orange and Horizon elementary schools. She retired as assistant principal at Discovery Elementary in Deltona.

Arrangements were handled by Settle-Wilder Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 406 S. Orange St., New Smyrna Beach.

Michael Douglass Foster

Michael Douglass Foster, 41, of Edgewater, died, Feb. 22.

Born in Rochester, N.Y., Mr. Foster, a truck driver, moved to this area as a child in 1979. He was a member of the First Church of The Nazarene, the Army National Guard and a member of American Legion in Fountain, Colo.

Arrangements were handled by Settle-Wilder Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 406 S. Orange St., New Smyrna Beach.

Harry E. Ogle, Jr.

Harry E. Ogle, Jr., 79, of New Smyrna Beach, died Saturday, March 2, at Ocean View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on March 3, 1933, in Crowley, La., Mr. Ogle moved to this area as a child. A graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, he was drum major in the high school band and played with bands in the New Smyrna Beach area. He served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Hickam Field in Hawaii, and was a member of the Air Force band there. A retired union pipe fitter for UA local 295 in Daytona Beach, Mr. Ogle was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in New Smyrna Beach.
